What this site collects, why, how long it is kept and how you make us delete it. Last updated September 4, 2026.
Who is responsible
MLJ, SASU, registered at 934 769 837 R.C.S. Paris, publishes SpeakerOneSheet and decides how the personal data described here is handled. The publication director is Jimenez Julien. For any question about this policy, or to exercise a right described below, write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. We answer privacy requests within thirty days and usually much faster.
What the contact form collects
The request form on the home page collects exactly these fields: name (your full name), email (your work email address), company (your speaking business or bureau name), role (your job title, chosen from a list), request (whether you want a demo, early access or a quote), size (how many paid dates you deliver in a year), message (your free text question) and consent (your agreement to this policy). A hidden field named bot-field exists only to catch automated spam and is normally empty. Two further hidden fields, subject and recipient, route the message to us. We also receive the date and time of the submission and the technical metadata that accompanies any web request, such as the browser user agent string.
We ask for nothing else. We do not ask for a postal address, a phone number, a payment card or any information about the events you deliver. Please do not send us confidential client information, contract terms under embargo or anything you would not want sitting in an email inbox.
Why we hold it, and the legal basis
We use what you send for one purpose: to answer your request and, where you asked for it, to arrange a walkthrough or prepare a quote. Under the General Data Protection Regulation the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the consent box before you submit, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us. We do not use form submissions to build a marketing list, we do not enrol you in a newsletter, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with any third party for their own purposes.
Who processes the data
Submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which hosts this site and operates the Netlify Forms service that receives the submission. Netlify acts as our processor under a data processing agreement and may not use your data for its own purposes. Our replies are sent from a standard email account, so a copy of the exchange also sits in that mailbox. No other processor touches the contents of the form.
Cookies and tracking
This marketing site sets no advertising cookies, runs no third party analytics script, and carries no social media pixel or remarketing tag. There is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss. Netlify may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the form against abuse. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives the request in order to serve the font files; no cookie is set by that request. If you subscribe to the application itself, the signed in product uses a session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you logged in.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept for twenty four months from the date you send them, so that we can pick up a conversation that resumes a season later, and are then deleted from the Netlify Forms store. Email correspondence is kept for the same period. If you ask us to delete your submission sooner, we do it and confirm in writing. Aggregate counts, for example how many requests arrived in a month, may be retained without any personal detail attached.
Your rights in the United States
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, state privacy law gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, to delete it, and to be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights. California residents may also request details of any disclosure of personal information and may opt out of a sale or share of it: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not process it for targeted advertising or profiling. Colorado, Connecticut and Virginia residents may appeal a refused request by writing to us again with the word appeal in the subject line, and we will explain our reasoning in writing. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, in which case we will ask for proof of authorization.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another territory covered by the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, which for our establishment is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes in France.
How to exercise a right
Write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com from the address you used on the form, tell us what you want us to do, and we will act on it. If we cannot identify you from the address alone we will ask one further question rather than demand a document. We do not charge for these requests unless one is manifestly excessive or repetitive.
International transfers
Because our host is a United States company, data submitted through this site is transferred to and stored in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, that transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses included in our agreement with Netlify, together with the supplementary technical measures Netlify applies, including encryption in transit and at rest.
Children
This service is sold to professional speakers, facilitators and bureaus, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen years of age. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, write to us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
Data in transit is protected by TLS, data at rest is encrypted, and access to form submissions is limited to the publication director. We review access twice a year. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authority within the deadlines set by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the last updated date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how we use data you already sent us will be notified by email to the address you gave. This version was last updated on September 4, 2026.
