Resources for speakers and workshop facilitators

Free tools and comparisons for the business side of speaking: what a date really pays, how many inquiries fill a season, and which software fits how you book.

Everything here is built for a working speaker rather than an aspiring one. That means the arithmetic of a traveling keynote, the structure of a defensible fee band, the pipeline math behind a full fall, and a straight read on which tools suit which kind of speaking practice. Nothing needs an account and nothing is a sales page in disguise.

If you are new to the business side, start with the one sheet checklist, because a page that answers a program chair in one sitting changes the quality of everything downstream. If you are already booked and want to know whether the work is paying, start with the net fee calculator and run it against your last three engagements.

About

Who writes all of this

A short page on who writes these guides, the keynote and workshop work behind them, and why the fee band, travel and committee arithmetic gets covered here the way it is.

About the author

All of this stays free

The one sheet checklist, both calculators and the tool comparisons cost nothing and stay yours whether or not you ever run a booking page here. If you want to see your own topics, bands and open weeks laid out the way an event planner reads them, ask for a screen share and we will build that page with you. It takes an afternoon of your time at the outside, and usually much less.
